Zach makes a game plan for the future

“Life before Pacific Shores was tough. Life was completely unbearable. I had just gotten out of the Air Force. I had no purpose, I had no mission, I was unfulfilled. My relationships were falling apart all around me and I was extremely suicidal. I just wanted it all to stop. I felt like there was nothing I could do. My drinking had spiraled to the point where I was drinking 4000 calories a day. I was completely immobile. I didn’t do anything – I just ate and just got fatter and fatter, I had gotten up to 300 pounds.

One of the most powerful things about this program in particular was the ability to work one-on-one with a therapist. We really dug through some super important things, addressing some of the trauma that I had experienced in the past in the Air Force and in my relationships, and started to make a game plan on how to move into the future and to actually make something of what was left of my life at that time.”
