Clinical Director

Brad Kingma is the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Supervisor. He received his B.S. in Psychology and Business Administration from Illinois State University, and his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. He also has an MBA from Pepperdine University. Brad has worked extensively with those struggling in their addiction and needing to reconnect with purpose and hope for their lives. Brad has worked in Rehabilitation Treatment Centers; with individual and family therapy, dual diagnosis, and with the chronically mentally ill in a variety of settings. Brad brings his expansive knowledge and experience in the mental health field to his practice as a primary therapist at Pacific Shores. Brad specializes in applying a spiritual orientation to his therapy that offers clients both the hope and the power to overcome their addiction and personal hang ups and problems. He has found that using Object relations, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are powerful therapeutic tools in his therapy. Clients repeatedly share their breakthroughs with family as reaching a level of growth they had yet to ever receive after only a few short sessions with Brad during their time in our program. He is known for helping clients heal at a core level both in his group therapy sessions, as well as his 1 on 1’s.
