Michael Rudolph

Dr. Michael Rudolph, MD
Medical Director

Dr. Michael Rudolph, MD graduated from Stanford Suma Cum Laude and attended medical school in New York at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.  Dr. Rudolph has been the medical director at multiple Recovery Centers in Orange County over his tenure in the field of addiction and has found his home with Pacific Shores.  In addition, Dr. Rudolph has a private practice specializing in addiction medicine in Newport Beach. He is a member of the California Society of Addiction Medicine, the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians.  He spends a substantial amount of his time teaching Addiction Medicine and Emergency Medicine to Medical Students, Residents and Interns.

Dr. Mike Kelly, DNP

Dr. Mike Kelly, DNP
Psychiatric Director

Dr. Mike Kelly, DNP is a board certified psychiatric DNP, completing his education at the University of Long Beach, and Chapman University. Dr. Kelly has over 20 years of psychiatric clinical experience, providing general psychiatric and addiction medicine services. Specialty areas include: private clinic, acute inpatient psychiatry, assisted living, partial hospitalization, residential detoxification, and sober living psychiatric consultation with MAT.  Dr. Kelly holds an affiliation with hospital based settings, providing acute in-patient & out-patient psychiatry, emergency room psychiatric triage, and psychiatric consultations.

Jerry Larabell
Program Supervisor

Jerry Larabell is the Program Supervisor and with decades of experience in addiction, has quickly become the “go-to” person that helps clients work through even the most difficult of struggles.  From running groups, case management sessions, and impromptu sessions with clients, he is continually the backbone behind the program and is able to help clients when they’re most vulnerable to reverting back to old behaviors.  Client’s often share of how amazing his approach is to genuinely understand what they’re going through in order to help make those healthy decisions. Jerry remains highly active in the addiction community and has found his calling getting to work daily with clients to help see life in a different light.

Brad Kingma

Brad Kingma
Therapist Supervisor

Brad Kingma is the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Supervisor. He received his B.S. in Psychology and Business Administration from Illinois State University, and his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University. He also has an MBA from Pepperdine University. Brad has worked extensively with those struggling in their addiction and needing to reconnect with purpose and hope for their lives. Brad has worked in Rehabilitation Treatment Centers; with individual and family therapy, dual diagnosis, and with the chronically mentally ill in a variety of settings.

Brad brings his expansive knowledge and experience in the mental health field to his practice as a primary therapist at Pacific Shores. Brad specializes in applying a spiritual orientation to his therapy that offers clients both the hope and the power to overcome their addiction and personal hang ups and problems. He has found that using Object relations, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) are powerful therapeutic tools in his therapy.  Clients repeatedly share their breakthroughs with family as reaching a level of growth they had yet to ever receive after only a few short sessions with Brad during their time in our program. He is known for helping clients heal at a core level both in his group therapy sessions, as well as his 1 on 1’s.

Naomi Posner-Stein

Naomi Posner-Stein
Social Worker

Naomi Posner-Stein is the primary Social Worker (ACSW).  Registered with the California Board of Behavior Sciences, Naomi has completed her masters in clinical social work and has found her passion working in the recovery field.  In addition to her masters, she completed a certificate of study for Drug and Alcohol Counseling in 2016 at Saddleback College as well as a certificate of study in Family and Couples Counseling in 2009.  Clients quite often will share how quickly they are able to open up where they have struggled in the past, which leads to accelerated growth while at Pacific Shores.

Rick Fulton

Case Manager and Nutrition Specialist

Rick Fulton is another incredible addition to the Case Management team whose background in health and fitness has led him to become known as the “Health Rehab” man throughout the program.  Earning his certifications in Mental Health as a CADC II, Rick also holds multiple certifications as a CPT, CES, and FNS as a nutrition specialist. He shares with his colleagues of how truly honored he feels to be part of such an amazing group of professionals at Pacific Shores!!

Alysa Osvog

Alysa Osvog
Yoga Therapist

Alysa Osvog, Certified Yoga Therapist, believes in Yoga and Meditation as a treatment tool to aid in sustainable sobriety. Alysa encourages students to discover their 'own alone time', develop intuition, inner strength and wisdom, and ultimately how to be a little more ‘comfortable, being uncomfortable.’  Her story with Pacific Shores dates back to 2013, as a house manager. "I lived there for over a year, it felt safe, which I grew to understand is key in early recovery. I also learned from the owners about compassion, sincerity and treating everyone as an individual, with respect. As my role with Pacific Shores has evolved, it is an honor to continue sharing the most powerful tools I use to not only recover, but to further live a life beyond my wildest dreams."

Jeri-Lynn Addington

Jeri-Lynn Addington
Case Manager

Jeri-Lynn Addington is one of the stand out Case Manager’s and received her degree from So Cal School of Ministry as a Christian Substance abuse counselor. She answered her calling in 2013 when she started working in the substance abuse field.  With her background as an ordained Chaplain, she enjoys getting to see what God has in store for each day at Pacific Shores.  Her philosophy is that nobody gets left behind and that together, answers can be found. She contributes life as a learning experience one day at a time.

Shelley Dyvig
Admissions Director

Shelley Dyvig is the Admissions Director and is the first person clients meet when entering the program.  After working in the real estate industry for 20 years, Shelley switched careers in order to fulfill her desire to help those recover.  She interacts with clients during the course of treatment, taking personal satisfaction in hearing about their progress. Shelley cites the core values of the company as its strengths.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson is the head of marketing and is known to be a hardworking and motivated professional with several years of experience in the field of addiction treatment. In recovery himself, Dakota is passionate about helping people find a new life after struggling with the disease of addiction though sharing his own experience, strength, and hope. Dakota believes that a positive mindset comes from living an overall healthy and active lifestyle.

Amy Cox
Support Staff Supervisor

Amy Cox is the Staff Supervisor.  Her passion and experience in recovery led her to make a professional change in order to help those who struggle in addiction.  She is extremely devoted in helping others by applying not only love but knowledge of the program as well. With every client that walks through our door, she strives every day to be an inspiration and teach them that life in recovery is an absolute blessing.

Mark Manderson

Mark Manderson

Mark Manderson (better known as Jr.), oversees the day to day operational aspect of Pacific Shores.  Mark holds a B.S. in International Business with a minor in finance. Mark earned his business degree while studying abroad at Cambridge University in the U.K. and received is Bachelors from Cal State Long Beach.  He also holds multiple certifications in Strategic Intervention, Hypnotherapy, and other niche fields within the addiction community. Mark’s life purpose is to help create an environment that heals the soul at a core level and found his home at Pacific Shores in 2004. “My favorite part of Pacific Shores is getting to hear the stories of how well our clients do once they move on to the next season of their life.  It’s amazing seeing the continual impact of so many families in our community.” He can be found interacting with every client to ensure their maximum growth while at Pacific Shores.

Melinda Spires, RN
Detox Coordinator

Melinda Spires is the primary Nurse (RN).  She has a degree from Cypress Nursing School, as well as studied Psychology and Sociology.  With close to 2 decades of nursing experience, Melinda (better known to patients as Mindy), has found her passion in the addiction side of Psychiatric Nursing.  She holds additional certifications in Evidenced Based Programs including Managing Adaptive Practice which rapidly and directly targets client’s symptoms and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma, as well as assisting patients that have been suicidal, suffer from bi-polar, schizophrenic, and severe depression.  Mindy has also been an active member of Alcoholic Anonymous with a sobriety date July 2, 1990 and is able to utilize her decades of program knowledge to help clients.
